I am a 30 something woman married to the man of my dreams - literally! Someday I'll write post about that story. Right now, the closest thing we have to kids are two Portuguese Water dogs. Sophie and Murphy are their names. Sophie is my old lady and Murphy my young pup. With 9.5 years between them they are the difference between night and day. I love blogging about the silly things they do the ways they keep us entertained. Someday we hope to add kids to the mix!
We live in San Jose, California. While we sometimes contemplate what life in a smaller town would be like we consider ourselves very blessed to be where we are at. We both have good jobs in high tech, we love and are loved by many friends, we are known by our church and we both have family in the area.
I call myself a runner and a soccer player. I've been known to enjoy backpacking and camping and rock climbing. I also try to be a reader. Some seasons are better than others. I am getting better at cooking and these days I am soaking up everything I can find on nutrition and cooking.
My other passion is walking with women on a journey of faith. Ever since I can remember I have been involved with women in a bible study or prayer group of some sort. Finding God in the midst of life's challenges can be hard. I count it an honor to help women with that. Someday maybe I'll write more about that.
