Now that Thanksgiving and our wedding anniversary our behind us I feel like I can throw myself fully into Christmas. Yesterday Bill and I cut down a tree at the Loma Prieta Summit Road Christmas Tree Farm. Bill had a blast taking the Jeep on the "4 wheel drive only" section of the farm. Sophie was a happy dog running about as we inspected each tree.
It was great fun to decorate the fireplace mantle Bill built. The creche is an Italian piece that Katharine passed on to us. 
And best of all Sophie's new favorite place to sleep is under the Christmas tree. Can you get an more Norman Rockwell than that? :)
