Feeling the effects of the economy

Bill was laid off from Verisign.  In fact most everyone working on the products he supported was laid off. Kind of a bummer.  Bill enjoyed his work at VeriSign and I loved being able to carpool to work most days of the week.  (Google is 2 exits north of VeriSign).  But we are praying and believing that God has everything under control.  He provides for the birds of the air and the flowers of the fields - how much will he provide for us, his children?  In the meantime I welcome any money saving tips you have!
