Long and Skinny

Last Friday night was the Beautiful Day thank you dinner and in preparation for it we bought a Baby Bjorn* travel crib.  The dinner was at our friend Joyce's house and was scheduled to run until 9 or 10.  Nathan goes to bed at 7 so we brought crib so we could put him down at Joyce's and enjoy the evening.

Of course as soon as I got it I needed to set it up and test it out.  As you can see from this video Nathan seems to enjoy it.  And the angle of this video shows how long and skinny Nathan truly is!

Nathan did very well at the dinner.  He went down without a peep and slept the whole time.  The only downside was having to wake him up in order to put him in the car seat.  He went back to sleep quickly once we got home and I nursed him.  The success of this night gives me great hope for our travels to Alaska as well as future nights out at friends' houses.
