Month 7

Between having my car stolen, closing escrow on our current house, entering escrow on our new house, launching my product at work, and traveling to Boston to visit my sister's family life has been a bit nuts these last 3 weeks.  Hence the almost two week delay in this post!  Month 7 was a big month for our little man.  Both in terms of what he is accomplishing and what is going on in our family.  Here is a pictorial tour of the month in no particular order.

We went for a hike and Nathan rode in his new Dueter Kid Comfort backpack.
He loved the view!

Soccer season has started for Bill and I.
Nathan enjoyed licking the soccer ball as he cheered us on from the sidelines.

Most notably Nathan mastered the art of sitting up this month.

He also started eating solids.
Although he is more interested in playing with the food than actually eating it.

We went to the cabin for Labor Day weekend.

Along with all of these exciting adventures, Nathan went and looked at every house with us during our search for a new home.  He test drove a few cars with us.  And he has expanded his vocabulary to include lots of ba, ba, bas.  His 7 month birthday was a busy day.  We spent the morning signing paper work to close escrow on our current home followed by music class.  The afternoon was napping and grocery shopping.  I forgot to take his photo shot until we were in the middle of his bedtime routine so these pictures are Nathan at 7 months and 2 days old.  Getting him to hold the number correctly for the camera was pretty much impossible but you get the idea. :)
