It was a jam packed week that started with my Dad's birthday and a trip to the ER. On Christmas Eve day we explored Disney's Animal Kingdom. Christmas Day was spent opening presents and lounging around at the house. My sister and Dad and I went for a Christmas day run. In the evening we went to downtown Disney for a seafood dinner. And Monday the 27th was spent at the Disney's Magic Kingdom.
I've heard adults say they love Disney but my conclusion is that Disney is definitely more fun viewed through the eyes of kids. Watching my sister's kids (Mia is 5 and Sadie is 3) become speechless when Pocahontas read them stories or light up when Cinderella and Santa Clause waved at them from the parade was priceless. Disney really is magical for kids! I am thankful we had the opportunity to create memories with them. Hopefully some day we'll have the opportunity to create similar memories with our own kids!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures of my nieces enjoying Disney World.
Celia, Mia, and Sadie listening to Pocahontas read a story.
Mia being silly with her carrots during a lunch break.
Mia and Celia making fashion out of their lunch buckets.
Sadie the party girl posing for the camera.
